I am a happy, healthy Christian Mom of 2 (or 3 depending on how you look at it). I love animals, helping others and serving God in whatever capacity He calls me to do so. Fat Old Moms was a term born of a desire to define this season of my life. My girlfriends and I go on an annual 'Fat Old Moms' weekend where we leave our husbands and children and explore ourselves and return to 'chick' status for a couple of days. We seek Christian influence in each other, but also allow ourselves to BE ourselves.

Wanting More

If you are like me, when you are used to reading a blogger, and they suddenly stop blogging, you feel like a drug addict looking for a high. Sorry. I'm sorting and processing and trying to discern God's direction and my participation in the compilation of my life's events in a funny and inspirational way that I can present to a broader audience in order to further His kingdom.....how's that for verbal diarhhea????

These photos are of a woman and child that I hold so dear to my heart. I have known this woman since she WAS a child, and these recent pictures she sent, inspire me and leave me in awe of her transformation from a chubby young girl to this beautiful woman...who now has a baby of her own.

I have no words of wisdom here as I cry at my computer. I just wanted to share. Soon, God will be concluding a phase of my life and opening a new beginning. I look forward to that light, for I know He holds good things for me in His hands.
